I have worked as an HR Intern with the Johannesburg Roads Agency for a period of one year and assisting the Human Capital Team in the areas of Recruitment and Selection administration,Training and Development Administration,Distribution of Benefits statements,Quality assure records on terminations; follow up on outstanding and incomplete information received,Administration of Injury on Duty,Conducting site inspections and identifying potential hazards to ensure compliance with the OHSA.
I also gained one year experience as a Junior Human Capital Consultant at Tiamo Personnel.Here I developed my customer service skills by providing HR and Payroll services to clients;
Assist in compiling job offers, employment contracts and HR letters
Prepare employee appointment and termination packs
Liaison with third parties (i.e. DOL, COID)
Schedule and coordinate the recruitment process
New employee Induction
Compile job descriptions and send to clients for approval
Maintaining employee records
Advising clients in terms of disciplinary codes and procedure as stipulated in the company policy.
Engaging new employees on the VIP Premier
Process payroll using VIP Premier
Compile and Submit monthly HR reports
Draw payroll reports from VIP system and submit to SARS and DoL (EMP 201, UIF Submit files, EMP501, IRP5 Certificates and all other payroll reports)
