Anja Hartman is the HR director of Sage VIP and has been involved in the Human Resources field for the past 20 years. Anja completed her BCom degree at the University of Stellenbosch then went on to graduate as an Honours student in Labour Relations.

Anja started her career in the Payroll Consulting Environment, focusing on the SME market. She also played an important part in establishing the HR and Payroll department at VIP. She introduced various standard practices and focused on establishing VIP's reputation as an employer of choice. This includes heading up the employee relationship assessments, analysing data and introducing interventions to optimise the return on the people investment.

Sage VIP was voted as the Business and Professional Services Company of the Year for 2012 in the 'Deloitte Best Company to Work For Survey', for the third year running.
