WRSA elects Tebogo Mogashoa as new president

Wildlife Ranching South Africa (WRSA) elected Tebogo Mogashoa as its new president. The appointment was made at WRSA's annual general meeting, which was held at the Protea Hotel Ranch Resort in Polokwane on 24 March 2018.

In his role as WRSA president, Mogashoa intends on ensuring sustainability of the wildlife industry by formulating a strategic approach in consultation with the South African government and other stakeholders. His first task will be to lobby with the government to support the legalisation of international trade of rhino horns at the next CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) CoP18 Conference in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
