Jill Barnes joins Cadbury SA as senior manager of Market Research and Insights
Jill Barnes has recently joined Cadbury SA as their Senior Manager of Market Research and Insights. The position entails heading up and leading the Market Research and Insights team to effectively promote Cadbury South Africa's commercial capability. This exciting new position has been created specifically for this strategic thinker, who over the past fifteen years has built up valuable knowledge in practising, understanding and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative research for large corporations and high profile brands.
Jill's impressive resume begins with a Cum Laude Masters degree in Psychology. It was during her internship at UNISA in Behavioural Sciences, that she discovered her passion and true calling in research. Jill later went on to manage field work for AMPS (All Media and Product Survey) and then moved on to brand giant, Coca-Cola where she worked as their Marketing Intelligence Manager for three years.
A career move from Coca-Cola saw Jill's appointment as Market Research Manager at Tiger Brands where she was ultimately responsible for heading up their Market Research department and held that position for five years until her recent appointment at Cadbury South Africa.

Cadbury South Africa is the number one confectionery and chewing gum company with over 30 brands in the market. As the Research and Insights head for Cadbury South Africa, Jill will be responsible for translating data in a manner that will ensure that Cadbury's strategies continue to produce sustainable growth within their individual markets, providing them with a competitive edge and creating new opportunities for themselves in the confectionery sector.
