Vivan Pinto named MD for J&J SA, SSA

Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has appointed Vivan Pinto as the new area MD for J&J Consumer in South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa. Pinto has been tasked with accelerating growth, driving the interdependencies between sub-Sahara Africa (SSA) and the rest of the Africa, Middle East, and Turkey (AMET) cluster as well as identifying opportunities to address the needs of Emerging Market consumers.

Pinto holds an MBA from Imperial College, London, a Master of Science in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary College, University of London and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Duke University. Pinto joined J&J as part of the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare acquisition in 2007.
