Sandton Convention Centre appoints general manager

The Sandton Convention Centre has appointed Shaun Bird as its new general manager. Shaun was previously the complex operations manager at the Grand Palm Hotel, Casino and Convention resort in Botswana and has also held various positions at four and five-star hotels, both in South Africa and London.
