Dilek Doyran to lead Discovery's growth in Africa and the Mediterranean
Discovery Communications has appointed Dilek Doyran as its new vice president of commercial development and country manager of Africa and the Mediterranean. Doyran will be tasked with exploring new business opportunities and managing relationships with agents, affiliate clients, regulatory bodies and potential commercial partners in the regions.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey, Doyran held several roles at the Turkish satellite TV provider, Digiturk and was eventually appointed at Discovery where she helped grow Discovery's business across markets including Africa, the Middle East and Turkey.
