Entries open for Encounters South African International Documentary Festival
The 18th Encounters South African International Documentary Festival, being held 2-12 June 2016 in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, is now open for entries. Due to the extraordinary number of entries, the Festival has decided to charge a nominal submission fee of US $15. African filmmakers are exempt. There are two awards - Audience Award for Best South African film and Audience Award for Best International film. The organisers will consider works in progress/rough cuts if the film will be ready in time for the Festival. For more information, go to www.encounters.co.za.
