Kids get a sweet treat at the cinema
CineMARK and sweet manufacturer Maynard's sweetened up children's movie experiences with a nationwide sampling campaign during April 2005. Young cinemagoers jostled peers to receive samples of Maynard's new board game and Maths, Wild Animals, Shapes and Seaworld Gum variants. Branded promoters targeted the cinema screenings of popular children's movies, Robots and Racing Stripes. Approximately 250 packets of Maynard's sweets and 200 board games were distributed in each shift over the two-week campaign period.
