Sanef condemns BLF's attack on Micah Reddy

The South African National Editors' Forum has condemned the recent harassment of a journalist. Micah Reddy, a journalist at the amaBhungane Centre for Investigative Journalism, was verbally assaulted and harassed by members of the Black First Land First movement along with its leader, Andile Mngxitama, as he was leaving a TV production set in Braamfontein.

As it obtained a court interdict against BLF, two weeks ago, Sanef has called on the South African Police Service to ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future.
