SA Post Office plants first of 857 trees
In celebration of Arbour Week, the South African Post Office planted the first of 857 trees to be planted across schools in South Africa. This forms part of the SA Post Office's carbon offsetting programme to green the environment, while investing in education through its annual letter-writing competition. The ceremony was held on 5 September 2011 at La Salle College in Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg.
