To crown it all

Miss South Africa organisers, Sun International and Tanzanite Blue, have partnered to create the most prestigious crowning tiara the pageant has ever seen for the new Miss SA. The tiara, designed locally, is valued at over R100 000 and consists of a dazzling 10.52ct pear-shaped tanzanite centrepiece and 53 tanzanite briolettes totalling 56.67ct, all set in white gold.
