BMW account to Ireland-Davenport
In a move that has surprised the industry, BMW has appointed newly created agency Ireland-Davenport (formed by former Net#work BBDO staff) to run its R10 million ad account. Incumbent agency TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris - which has had the account for more than ten years - did not pitch. Former TBWA staff Sue Ferguson and Prinaven Pillay and Yellowood's Andy Rice will also be overseeing the account for Ireland-Davenport.
