Grande Provence - with a twist

Grande Provence Estate, Franschhoek, has launched its first maiden vintage - The Grande Provence Premier Range consisting of Grande Provence Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, Grande Provence Shiraz 2004, Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2005 and Grande Provence Chardonnay 2004 - using screw tops. The neck tag illustrates the new logo and educates the consumer on the benefits of the long-debated screw tops. According to the estate, considerable research has found screw tops to be "the perfect wine closure - airtight yet re-sealable, no oxidation, no cork taint. The wine industry in New Zealand and Australasia has been the forerunners with the screw top and we would like to think this demonstrates Grande Provence as world players."
