SA National Parks Week free access demonstrates the revival of tourism
South African National Parks (SanParks) recorded 72,166 free day visits to participating parks during South African National Parks Week, which ran from 12 September to 18 September 2022. During this campaign, locals with valid identity documents could spend a free day at a national park of their choice under the established theme 'Know Your National Parks.'
South Africans are encouraged to take pride in their natural, cultural and historical heritage through National Parks Week, made possible with the support of TotalEnergies Marketing South Africa and First National Bank (FNB).
