Competition Commission accepts ALPLA's Boxmore Packaging takeover
ALPLA's acquisition of Boxmore Packaging has been approved by the Competition Commision after it was subject to legal and regulatory approval.
The deal was signed in July 2017 and has been approved without conditions, which results in ALPLA holding 100% of the issued share capital of Boxmore Packaging.
The acquisition is the largest for the manufacturer and has prompted ALPLA in aiming to change its packaging offering to FMCG customers in the Southern African region.
