Takalani Sesame launches YouTube channel

The Takalani Sesame YouTube channel is the latest extension to the number of ways in which the programme can be accessed beyond its traditional television and radio broadcast, complementing its website for parents, teachers and scholars, its website for children and all those young at heart, its Facebook page and its Twitter feed.

Content will be updated regularly and made available in five languages: isiZulu, Tshivenda, Sepedi, Afrikaans and English. This is in keeping with Takalani Sesame's commitment to promoting the Department of Basic Education's (DBE) mission for mother-tongue learning in early childhood.
