Facebook launches Facebook Local for easier decision-making
Facebook has unveiled Facebook Local; a reboot of the Facebook Events app which is essentially a combination of Yelp, FourSquare, and the previous version of the Events app.
Facebook Local brings together 70 million business listings and reviews with your friends' check-ins, to help you discover new bars, restaurants, and events nearby as well as what's currently trending.
The app can be found in the sidebar menu where users can search for nearby places based on name and location, as well as by category.
