The bang bang club premier

The "black carpet" celebrity event hosted a range of household names such as Ashley Hayden and Matthew Booth; as well as the films local heroes, Frank Rautenbach (Sewendelaan, Faith like Potatoes) and Neels van Jaarsveld (Binnelanders, Hard Copy) and South African Director, Steven Silver. The film tells the true story of four photojournalists - Ken Oosterbroek, Kevin Carter, Greg Marinovich and Joao Silva - who covered the unrest in townships during the transition to a democratic South Africa. Besides the South African director, we see two renowned South African talents in the form of Rautenbach and van Jaarsveld alongside Americans big names, Ryan Phillip and Taylor Kitsch in the lead roles.
