The future of South African design looked especially bright this year at the 2012 Design Indaba Expo, with a high standard of craftsmanship and design from both the seasoned and Emerging Creatives sectors.

This year also saw many truly creative stand design solutions, which led to the expo seeming more like an well curated exhibition than a common-or-garden trade fair.

All in, a tight showcase for local talent, offering a great variety of inspiring new merchandising and revenue generating streams - from the extreme luxury of leather and precious metals, to the utilitarian materials of glass jars, wood, beading, crochet and recycled object d'arts.
