Brothers for Life on World Aids Day
The event was in Alexandra Township and it saw the following Brothers for Life Ambassadors Matthew Booth, Teko Modise, Siphiwe Hlabangane and Tshepo Maseku taking public HIV tests.
Brothers for Life is a national men's campaign that aims improve the health and well being of families by creating a movement of men that draws upon the spirit of Brotherhood that exists among South African men and encouraging men to positively influence each other as partners, and parents and as leaders.
Brothers for Life recently launched, Brothers Against Violence which aims to inspire communities to stand up and act against the violation of women and children.
This leg of the campaign seeks to mobilize communities who seek to address the problem of Gender based Violence in South Africa
