MOT SA launches in South Africa
Leading short term insurer, Santam, hosted three Norwegian Cape Epic mountain bike teams at their head office yesterday to launch a public benefit organisation, MOT, in South Africa.
The cyclists will be representing MOT in the upcoming Cape Epic mountain bike challenge starting in Cape Town.
The Norwegian word “mot” means “courage” in English. The programme was started in Norway twelve years ago and is now being rolled out in South Africa targeting youth communities.
The aim of the MOT organisation is to create a significant impact on the development of the youth of South Africa by empowering them to make the right choices for themselves and to develop the courage to take good care of themselves and others.
