ADVICE / ASSISTANCE NEEDED

I have recently relocated to Gauteng and have been trying for the last 4 months to get a job, to no avail. I have extensive experience as an executive PA, predominantly in the legal field, but have always had a passion for the media industry. Having spent many years doing Speech and Drama has afforded me the opportunity to become articulate, well read, a great communicator and a peoples person. I have been to hundreds of interviews, met with countless agencies and have found all this to be increasingly frustrating as nothing comes of it, despite being shortlisted and even offered various posts, only to find the firms / companies retract the post! I have decided that pride should not exist in my pursuit of fulfilling my dreams and earning an income that will afford me a life as compared to merely existing. I have submitted my CV to all major media agencies as well as being proactive and submitted my CV to companies directly. Can anyone offer advice or assistance?
