where are all the music related jobs?!
somebody help me understand
I studied music when i was in highschool but also found that i felt the need/pressure to study towards a national matric certificate (to have something to fall back on?!). I am at the moment working in a company which has nothing to do with music, infact i'm a communications officer in the medical field. I have many musician friends, some of whom went as far as study at University for their qualifications and yet they are struggling to find jobs in the music industry. Is this fair? why is it that there's never jobs related to music, ie sound engineer, producer, backing vocalist, etc? Can somebody change this please??!
