Goodbye to Freelancers!

We own a medium sized digital/print studio in Johannesburg and have always used the skills of freelancers.

What I have come to realise though is:

A. Some of them are in the same price range as large corporate businesses i.e. They overcharge!!!

B. They do not need to pay employers, VAT, and other general expenses

C. Companies cannot seem to get the really talented designers - because everyone wants to freelance and earn a fortune

D. They bail out at the last minute and are NOT always reliable.

Are we the only ones that feel this way or are there others that will agree?
