The Tastic ad with the Daschund
A small number of Mother Grundies have complained that the ad promotes cruelty to animals by showing a forlorn dog looking at an empty bowl. In that case, what about the recent KFC ad showing a family tucking into a chicken feast while poor Fido sadly looks on?
How can creatives expect to produce good work if there is a constant fear that it will be pulled and millions wasted? Is anybody else fearful that these complaints might be heeded? What is the world coming to?
(Just for the record: I am an animal lover who has donated to and volunteered at the SPCA. Perhaps these whingers could spend their time more constructively by doing something for those animals that are really starving and abused.)
