Help: How does one disconnect from the ad world and become normal again?
Being a part of a circle of individuals who think they are God's gift to the Universe (Bullshitters) has made me think that everyone else is. I always think everyone is trying to bullshit me and as a result I have erected a defence wall and am not able to live freely.
I can't watch telly without being pissed off at stupid pointless ads. I can't handle seeing the wool being pulled over a client's eyes or seeing people shoving "GrandPa" up their noses in order to be able to come up with an "award-winning" (blimey, another phrase I loathe...) idea.
A fake world, indeed. I'm just very affected by it all and would like to hear from people who feel the same way and perhaps have an idea of how to disconnect or balance it with normal life. And no, I'm not gonna jump off a bridge or anything like that. Help!
