Why is experience discarded?
Despite the home coming revolution, we senior experienced creatives are no longer considered for employment.
You can see the results - expensive, irrelevant rubbish that is being severely criticised by people in the know. Agency management better wake up and dig a bit deeper into their pockets and start employing some seniors to counterbalance the growing trend to flash ideas that are not producing results.
The problem starts with the attitude of agency management. Or is it just simply a case of money? I suspect that is the crux of the matter. The industry isn't capable of making enough money to sustain better salaries, so it has to make do with 'cheap labour'. It will bite you in the butt!
