Join District 9 cast at Celludroid

Flamedrop Production, in association with Shadow Realm, is launching Celludroid, a range of science fiction, anime and fantasy movies at the independent Labia Theatre on Kloof Street, Cape Town, this weekend, 28 - 30 August 2009. Also on screen is South Africa's District 9, and the cast and crew will be present for introductions and Q&A on Friday night, 28 August.

Guests confirmed thus far for the 8.30pm show on Friday 28 August include actor Jason Cope, actress Vanessa Haywood and Max Poolman, visual FX supervisor.

Celludroid films include Plan 9 from Outer Space, Plaguers, Destroy All Planets (Gamera tai uchu kaijû Bairasu), Akira, Bane and Automatons.

At selected screenings, DVD copies of Watchmen will be up for grabs courtesy Nu Metro Home Entertainment. Lucky audience members will also receive District 9 give-aways.
