The South African shortlist includes submissions from Romance Films/RSA Films, Ninety9cents and Giant Films; for Adidas Original’s SS2017 Original is never finished, Puma South Africa’s #RunTheseStreets, and Kwese’s The Great Escape production elements, respectively.
Francisco Condorelli, director of Ciclope, says, “We saw entries flood in from all across the globe, and we are impressed with the quality of work emerging from South Africa.”
