New southern Cape newspaper adds to community information
The Eden Express, a new community newspaper for the George and Mossel Bay, launched in mid-June as a free door-to-door publication, distributing 38 500 copies every Wednesday with 22 000 in George and 16 500 in Mossel Bay.
The newspaper is represented by Ads24 and the company's business manager: communities, Evan Smith, says, "Aligning with the requirements of our readership, the newspaper is published in English and Afrikaans and targets the LSM 6 - 10 market segments."
News-specific to these areas, editorial content includes community news; sport club news/results; school news and leisure pages.
Smith said the newspaper will also give national advertisers a new opportunity for exposure in the region.
