"We're also delighted, for the second year, to have brought a global edge to the competition. As part of the SAMEP (South Africa Middle East and Pakistan) cluster within Unilever Food Solutions, it is with great pride that we welcome the chefs from Pakistan, Mashreq and Arabia," says Eelco Camminga, MD of Unilever Food Solutions South Africa, Middle East and Pakistan. "As the global village becomes smaller every day and we all benefit from the integration of our countries into a broader community, we believe the development of this competition into one in which chefs from all over the region pit their skills against one another, conveys enormous prestige and recognition of an entire continent. Looking at the judges' scoring, it is plain to see that the standards were extremely high."
