Since its launch in Dubai in 2001, The Entertainer has grown exponentially. We now have 21 books across 14 destinations and 11 countries across the Middle East, Asia and Europe. This year, we are also very excited to announce our further expansion into South Africa and our launch of the new 2013 Cape Town edition.

Our decision to launch here was simple; South Africa ticks all our boxes. There are so many partnership opportunities and amazing places to visit in this country, it just made sense to bring the book here.

We are confident that the book will do well in this country and that South Africans will embrace our simple but exceptional savings model of two-for-one incentive benefits. The Cape Town edition of the book, which will be priced at R450, will boast over 450 two-for-one offerings for some of the best restaurants, cafes, nightspots, leisure attractions, spas and hotel accommodation in Cape Town plus some additional fantastic offers for Johannesburg. To date we have 150 merchants signed up.

In addition to these incentives, we are also including special offers of two-for-one hotel accommodation deals for 60 hotels across fabulous destinations such as Mauritius, Seychelles, Thailand and Dubai. All of this equates to over R120 000 in value.

Aside from encouraging locals to become tourists in their own country, we are hoping to attract more foreigners to SA shores too by selling the book internationally and online at a 10% discount.
