The billboard is designed to market BirdLife South Africa and the Kruger to Canyons Birding Route and promote avitourism in the Limpopo Region.
The Kruger to Canyons Birding Route, a BirdLife South Africa project, has been designed as a community- and conservation-based avitourism project in which the benefits derived from tourism will flow positively into local communities and conservation. Naturally, the more tourists who pass through the region, the greater the benefits to local communities and conservation project will be.
The billboard will create conservation awareness amongst local residents and potentially promote BirdLife South Africa membership.
