Radio Pulpit still on air
Despite recent rumours to the contrary, Radio Pulpit is still broadcasting, albeit on AM 657, since its contract with Radio 2000 reached its conclusion at the end of December 2006.
"Are you spreading the word that Radio Pulpit is still broadcasting? And do you know what the latest news is?" is the two-level message of Radio Pulpit's latest media campaign.
The station is currently awaiting the Independent Communication Authority of South Africa's decision on its FM licence application, which includes the application for two high-powered medium wave transmitters that will cover more than half the country, as well as a number of smaller FM transmitters that will reach listeners in more remote areas.
