Tové Kane joins Jacaranda 94.2
Tové Kane, the Crystal award winner for Best Radio Personality 2006, is the new weekend 10am - 2pm slot host on Jacaranda 94.2, effective 5 August 2006. "Jacaranda 94.2 has a passion for its listeners that directly matches my love for radio. I find the station exudes a youthful, sophisticated and informed persona and that really appeals to me," says Kane.
Kane explains that Jacaranda 94.2's personality and profile talks directly to the heart of its target audience: "All events and activities are carefully chosen to enhance the lives of individual listeners. And of course I love the music, it's incredible to have no repeats from 9am to 4pm during the week - I am a definite fan!"
Furthermore, Kane - who is currently taking Afrikaans lessons - says that when signing up with the radio station, she was blown away at the sheer magnitude of the audience (over 2 456 000). "That number is huge! It's humbling and yet inspiring for me to be talking to so many people. I'm blessed to have this amazing opportunity."
