Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition visits SA
Wildlife Photographer of the Year provides a global platform that showcases the natural world's most astonishing and challenging sights for over 50 years. Launched in the UK in 1965 and attracting then 361 entries, today the competition receives over 42,000 entries from 96 countries highlighting its enduring appeal. This year there are 13 images by South African finalists and winners for the various categories featured.
Event organiser Sophie Dandridge said: "We are so proud to bring this inspirational exhibition of the best wildlife photos in the world to South Africa for the eighth year running. It is an incredibly important medium for every age group to be able to experience and engage with our planet's beautiful environment and conservation issues in such a visual way - especially in the heart of a city."
