Make your mark and vote for SA’s top women achievers
South Africans intending to pay tribute to the nation's outstanding women achievers have less than two weeks left in which to make their nominations for this year's prestigious Shoprite Checkers / SABC 2 Women of the Year Award.
Nominations are called for in the nine categories of the Award, including the new category of Social Services.
The other categories of the Award are business entrepreneurship, media & communications, arts & culture, science & technology, health, education, sport and community affairs.
Each category winner will receive R10 000 in prize money and share the title of 2004 Shoprite Checkers / SABC 2 Women of the Year.
Nominations should reach the organisers by Friday, 21 May 2004, and forms are available from all Shoprite and Checkers stores, the website at www.sawoman.co.za or from the organisers on Tel: 27 11 465 5225.
