Business guide to launch at WEF Africa Summit
The launch issue of the first annual official NEPAD Business Foundation (NBF) Business Guide will be distributed at the World Economic Forum Africa Summit, to be held in Cape Town in June 2007. The objective of the Business Guide is to create interest in, discuss and expose business and investment opportunities in Africa.
Through a focused network of businesses, governments, investors and non-government organisations, the NBF offers a business communication platform to bring like-minded parties together with a common goal of supporting business development across Africa.
The multimedia communications initiative will include an initial print run of 20 000 printed copies, as well as 50 000 packaged CDs. The Guide will also be made available on www.nepadbusinessfoundation.org.
The guide will offer authoritative and comprehensive information on a diverse range of industries and topics pertinent to the current growth and changing face of business in Africa – with emphasis on enhancing financial management discipline and good corporate governance. It intends to provide the necessary facilitation and guidance on how best to engage with key African stakeholders.
