BBDO Consulting launches SA operation
BBDO Consulting, the global management consulting group focused on strategic marketing, announced its official launch in South Africa earlier this week, with Ingrid Veysie as CEO. Veysie has 21 years of national and international marketing experience.
BBDO Consulting began seven years ago in Germany as an independent unit from BBDO Worldwide and the organisation has successfully applied its methodology across Europe as well as establishing offices in Israel, China, Russia and now SA.
Veysie comments, “It’s a great time to bring a fresh and rigorous offering such as ours to this market. This is the logical next step for the international consulting practice. We might be new to the domestic market but we have a long and proven track record internationally and we’re extremely excited to bring our unique blend of creative vigour and strategic disciplines to South Africa.”
Explains Mike Schalit, Net#work BBDO’s creative head, “We apply ‘creative activism’ to classic business problem-solving which our clients really enjoy because it’s stimulating. We take them out of their natural comfort zones but we end up with a process that generates a deeper understanding of the issues and a better quality of conversation around the strategic marketing solutions.”
According to Udo Klein-Bölting, managing partner and CEO of BBDO Consulting Worldwide, the success of the new SA venture will be measured by the sustainability and improved brand equity of its clients.
