The debut of the Fine Brandy Fusion event in Cape Town is upon us. 9-10 May sees the event at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, gathering brandy lovers from all walks of life. Come celebrate the liquid gold, with the producers of fine brandy and share in the highlights, from trend-forward cocktails to the age-old craft of barrel-making.
"Hosting the highly successful Fine Brandy Fusion in Cape Town, after six years in Sandton, brings the event a stone's throw from the spot where brandy was first distilled on a ship docked in Table Bay harbour 341 years ago" says Christelle Reade-Jahn, director of SA Brandy Foundation.

Fine Brandy Fusion is the perfect launch pad for new products. New artisanal brandy producers have come on board with their handmade liquid gold, that is up for nosing and tasting in the Potstill Lounge. The event is both a social happening and a learning experience where brandy enthusiasts can join in the popular hourly master classes.
There is simply nothing like South Africa's finest anywhere in the world. Being the definitive collection of South African brandy under one roof, the brandy industry is well presented, with some benchmark cognacs from France also making an appearance. Festival goers will be able to taste for themselves why South African brandies are the most revered internationally and highly respected by connoisseurs across the globe.
GL events Oasys has been involved with Fine Brandy Fusion for over five years, supplying infrastructure such as shell scheme, carpeting and electrical components to the event. "This is the first time that this show will be hosted in Cape Town where in previous years it took place in Johannesburg only. It's a great association to be a part of the country's premier brandy event - a glam gathering of brandy lovers. We're excited to see it expand to other cities. The culture in Cape Town makes it an absolute ideal location for this event" says Anélia Marais, marketing manager at GL events Oasys.
