His books have sold more than five million copies worldwide and have been translated into 27 languages. His public lectures, radio and TV appearances, including two major TV series for Channel 4 in the UK and The Learning Channel in the US (Quest For The Lost Civilisation and Flooded Kingdoms of the Ice Age), together with his growing presence on the internet, have put his ideas before audiences of tens of millions. He has become recognised as an unconventional thinker who raises controversial questions about humanity's past.
In February 2014 Hancock was voted No 30 in Watkins' list of "The 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People". Hancock's Return of the Plumed Serpent, Volume 2 of the War God trilogy of epic novels, will be published in November 2014. In addition, Hancock is currently putting the finishing touches to Magicians of the Gods, the sequel to Fingerprints of the Gods, his best known work of non-fiction. Laying out all the new evidence for a great lost civilisation of remote antiquity, Magicians of the Gods is scheduled for publication in October 2015.
