Tickled pink by charity support

Reach for Recovery, a non-profit organisation that provides free, non-medical support to breast cancer sufferers through its national programmes, will be the total beneficiary of all sales of Edgars' Tickled Pink fragrance and accompanying gift set.

Launched as an exclusive by the group at the beginning of October 2009, Breast Cancer Awareness month, the drive will continue until 31 March 2010 to promote awareness of breast cancer amongst women across South Africa, when all proceeds will be awarded to Reach For Recovery in April 2010.

“Edcon has supported breast cancer awareness for the past seven years via a series of sponsorships and events aimed at raising awareness amongst our customers. This year our launch of provides our customers with an opportunity to support a worthy cause while increasing awareness of a disease that affects as many as one in 27 women annually,” says Edcon transformation manager, Xolile Caga.

“Reach For Recovery is the ideal beneficiary."

The Tickled Pink fragrance, together with a signature breast cancer diamante handbag hook and lip-gloss gift set retails at R79.95.
