Dr Dre has released the Beats Executive headphones, designed to take professional from the boardroom to the tarmac and everywhere in between. Early models were targeted at athletes, pop stars and the people who love them, but the latest addition is targeted at executives on the move.

They are lightweight, comfortable to wear and fold flat for easy packing. They are powerful enough with the battery-powered noise cancellation to reduce a jet engine to a whisper and deliver music without outside interruption. The Auto-on/off system powers the headphones down when taken off, to conserve battery life. Put them back on and the music starts up again.

The speakers pivot up to 90 degrees for a flawless fit without wear-fatigue and work perfectly with or without batteries. It offers a new fold-flat design and soft leatherette cushions at a retail price of R3999.99.
