Pure sound, pure mobility, pure fun

Logitech has launched its Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system which aims to transform low-fidelity mobile-phone audio into high-fidelity, stereophonic sound - wirelessly.
Pure sound, pure mobility, pure fun

Mobile phones that use Bluetooth wireless technology with the Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP) profile can stream stereo audio through the compact speaker system, up to 10 metres away from the device; while the 2-inch high-excursion drivers and dual 2-inch pressure drivers promise sound with articulate bass and smooth treble.

Featuring two built-in mics (one to pick up vocal nuances and the other to monitor and block unwanted background noise), the system doubles as a wireless speakerphone; with the call-answer and -end controls on the top of the speakers accepting or ending calls.

The compact, one-piece speaker system comes with a protective case with housing for charging cables; while the rechargeable batteries provide approximately 12 hours of playing time as well as a battery-life indicator. If the batteries run low, a power adaptor and mini-USB cable is also included.

The system can be paired to a PC, iPod or other MP3 player via Bluetooth or by connecting it to the built-in 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile speakers are expected to be available in South Africa in July for a suggested retail price of R1699.99.
