Trooping off to Cape Town

After relocating to Hollywood from New York to shoot 11 episodes of Salma Hayek's Ugly Betty, which premieres on M-Net shortly, Savante flew to SA to start filming a six-week schedule on the scifi action adventure which co-stars Casper Van Diem, Jolene Blalock and Marnette Patterson.

Savante is making his first visit to South Africa in 11 years but will not have to wait long before his next return: he has been cast in A Million Colours, scheduled to shoot later this year in Johannesburg.

Savante has also made Elle magazine's Hot 40 list for the second year in a row.
