Greatstock Motion shows Audi Quattro around South Africa
The brief involved showing several different views to extol the capabilities of Quattro: from down-and-dirty muddy forest trails, spectacular mountain passes, desert landscapes, craggy mountains to aerials of geometric cityscapes.
Other than the car sequences, Greatstock Motion delivered all but one shot, according to Greatstock's head researcher, Nikki Griffiths: "We had to deliver iconic South African locations in an unusual and unexpected style, to interweave the gripping action car shots. Combining 'familiar' and 'unexpected' plus 'awesome' represented quite a challenge, but great guidance was received from Ogilvy's creative and production teams, as well as editors from Deliverance Post."
