MWeb is encouraging all to visit www.mwebgadgetgenie.co.za before November 16 and is part of the company's efforts to demystify technology and help consumers make the best technology decisions. Following its recent strategic step to offer mobile phones, which saw it became SA's first ISP to offer cellular telephone and Internet connectivity, MWEB realised that with more choice, the average user was more confused by technology than ever before.
During the course of the campaign MWEB representatives will hit the streets of SA to interview ordinary citizens about their greatest technology woes. Post-winner-announcement plans include a series of agony aunt blog entries and educational vlogs where the Gadget Guy or Girl will explain and demonstrate solutions to these problems, and in doing so, help demystify technology for the nation.
