ICASA launches consumer advisory panel

The establishment of CAP is in terms of the Electronic Communications Act and follows a consultative process in which ICASA invited interested individuals to submit written comments and representations with regards to proposed regulations to govern CAP.

The regulations were essentially aimed at prescribing the constitution of the Consumer Advisory Panel and to develop the terms of reference for CAP.
