Atmosphere Orange is a new media planning and buying agency formed by CEO, André Britz, winner of the 2010 and 2011 best media planner award at the
Bookmarks. The agency's aim is to bridge the gap between digital and traditional media and service brands and agencies that need to outsource their media function.
Britz is personally involved with all media plans and the company does a full needs-analysis before any work commences, providing target market specifications, objectives and performance indicators, cornerstones to any strategy.
In addition, the agency is using its digital expertise to combat the disconnect between digital and traditional media. It believes that marketing strategies should be holistic and its recommendations are biased toward getting the best results.
"The media function in agencies often becomes an afterthought," says Britz. "Production is simply more profitable and the importance of a strong marketing strategy is forgotten. We aim to bring media back and get it to work for brands. Similarly, clients mostly focus on getting a Facebook page or a website up. They forget that people will not visit their properties if they do not know about them. Hence the importance of media to kick-start any campaign or drive."
Despite the focus on planning and buying, it has strong partnerships with production entities and can accommodate any request, no matter the size. It works closely with all parties involved to ensure the media is leveraged to the advantage of its clients.
